The Nursing Department at Otterbein boasts a 12 to 1 student to faculty ratio. With those odds, your individual talents and interests will be at the head of the class. Also, in your first quarter of nursing, you will be assigned a clinical placement where you can begin gaining hands-on, professional experience that will boost your confidence and career.
Practice Makes Perfect
Upon graduation, you will have the ability to care for individuals of all ages from infants to elderly, and groups such as families and communities. Our graduates are employed in a variety of health care agencies, including acute care, extended care, primary care, home care, mental health, and community health settings.
After receiving your Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Otterbein, you are qualified to take the National Council Licensure Examination-Registered Nurse (NCLEX-RN) and pursure graduate education.
