Academic Support Resources
The Center for Career Planning helps students identify their interests, plan their college path, and become successful in the workplace. The staff uses various tests and inventories such as the Strong Interest Inventory (SII) and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) to help students clarify their strengths, aptitudes, and values. Then they work with the student to develop a personal four-year plan to guide their career progress through college. The services and resources of the Career Center assist the student in exploring career options and majors, planning relevant career-building experiences through extracurricular, work, and volunteer activities, building self-marketing and job search competencies, and connecting with job or graduate school opportunities. The Courtright Memorial Librarians are available to answer your questions at the 1st floor reference desk during Library hours. You may also chat online with a librarian (see the Library help page for hours) or make an appointment to see a librarian. |
