Services and Accommodations

Depending on the impact of the disability, students will be made eligible for one or more of the following accommodations. The DS Coordinator will meet with each student to train them in accessing those services and accommodations for which they are eligible. Students must request all needed accommodations in a timely manner in order to assure that they will have appropriate access to their classes.

Accommodations available to Otterbein students can include:

• Exam/test accommodations (extra time, distraction reduced space, reader/scribe, computer)
• Note taking assistance
• Alternative media
• Priority registration
• Tutoring
• Residence hall accommodations
