Established in July 2002, the Center for Teaching and Learning at Otterbein College supports faculty and staff members involved in the common project of educating students. Thus, the two complementary features of the Center's mission involve enhancing the quality of student learning and creating opportunities for conversations about teaching and learning among faculty, staff, and students.

Programming includes:

• Campus-wide discussion of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning
• Workshops and panel discussions
• Support for new faculty
• Facilitated conversations in departments about teaching and learning in disciplinary context
• Individual consultations about teaching
• Invited speakers
• Book clubs
• Professional Learning Communities
